The garden fully tilled and ready for the Carrie and company to plant fruit trees and herbs for the clinic.
These guys were determined to show off their martial arts skills...
Jim had one last balloon and somebody knew it...
 Jim working his balloon magic.
The construction site for the new high school adjacent to the current school...The project requires an additional $130,000...Total cost to build the school is a mere $200,000.
 The playground...
This is a cotton tree...it started out as a cotton bush, but they grow to tree size in Haiti.
A tribute to pumpkin soup...a vegetable soup of some variety and delicious.
Carrie, Tony, Kevin, Matt, Renard, Glenn, Jim, Stan, Aisiaha and John.

We figured in Haiti you get a license plate for "life." If need be, you tie it to your truck.
Edward modelling his Lakers jersey from Mike Tedeschi and a UNC hat from GP.
 Sharing some iTunes...
The streets of Quanaminthe...this place seemed wild when we arrived but John called it "almost quaint" after seeing Cap Haitien...couldn't agree more.

The big blue building is a market...there was so much chaos on the way in, I didn't even see it.
 Looking into the Dominican Republic...
Doing laundry in the Massacre River...

When we arrived, Santiago seemed like a dirty, disorganized, unsophisticated gun toting town...when we returned it seemed like a pretty well organized, fairly clean gun-toting town.  There are people with guns guarding everything including this restaurant which featured fabulous fettucini carbonara, cold local beer and the Saints/49ers playoff game...Oh, and the hotel had hot water.  What more could you ask for?
